Calculator to check work Comic life to create a poster for steps of fractions Dictionary to define words that are not in the text iMovie to record songs for steps of solving problems Pandora to play music during class Protractor to have students measure angles Quick graph to show and check linear functions ShowMe for creating and viewing video tutorials of problems Simple physics for when students finish early Whiteboard to use in lieu of a regular whiteboard | Karen's FavoritesGrammar Dragon - Parts of Speech, OppOcean and OppOcean II -opposites, SameMeaning - I use these to support my essential standards or just plain review in small groups.
Bluster! - I have students work in pairs during IWT to support essential standards. Grammar Fun - I use this game to teach my ELs the academic language for those word parts. iBrainstorm - I let small groups use this app to create flow maps and tree maps instead of working with white boards. QuickVoice - record timed fluency to later share w/students and parents. Fractions - I use this during my math intervention. Lattice Grid - I use this in small groups to teach triple digit multiplication on a grid if students don't get it. |
